Cache # 43.
The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is a wonderful cycling trail between Wangaratta and Bright, with a side track running from Everton Station to Beechworth. The trail is suitable for road bikes.
These are essentially caches placed for cyclists using the trail but there is generally easy parking for cars near each GZ.
Horseshoe Creek provides a nice spot to stop for a little break. At time of placing the cache there was water bubbling along and the autumn trees were a lovely golden colour. There is also the beautiful silhouette of an extremely tall ghost tree nearby. In the creek on both sides of the bridge there are large concrete blocks with metal pipes protruding from the top - perhaps old supports from another bridge.
