dalesmanX: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired it I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Geocache Description:

The cache is at the HQ of 1st Washington Scouts. The Scout Troop have met here in Washington since 1916. Our 'new' brick HQ - replacing the orginal wooden hut was built in 1967. 1st Washington Scouts provide adventure and activity for young people aged 6-18 in the local area. The cache was hidden by the Explorer Scout Unit who meet at the HQ on a Wednesday night. It is an old pepper pot to kick things off we have put a badge, paperclip and Peseta. We'd love it if the Peseta could find its way back to Spain and you could upload a picture of you holding the badge.
