KWAT KWAT LOOKOUT
This cache is placed in another lovely area of the Warby Ranges.The Warby Range State Park is highly valued for its diverse flora and prominence in the region's landscape.Located 240 kms North East of Melbourne and 10 kms West of Wangaratta,the park extends north along a 25km range between the townships of Glenrowan and Peechelba.The steep ridge line offers pleasant picnic and camping spots and an outstanding variety of birdlife and wildflowers.Enjoy sweeping views to Mount Buffalo and see many Grass Trees in flower.
Park you car at the top part of Wenhams Camp Grounds,from there follow the management track to GZ.The track is for walkers/bikeriders only.The track itself is easy walking and 1.6kms each way.Some way along the management track you will reach an intersection of Taylors Tk and Peregrine Tk continue along Peregrine Tk.The terrain rating is really only for the last 10-20 mts.Which some people may find a challenge. Pack a picnic enjoy the walk,spectacular views and surrounds.Enjoy the Lookout which offers excellent views of the Ovens Valley and Victorian Alps.
THE CACHE:Is regular in size (ammo can),containing log book,FTF Flag and plenty of swaps.Please as always bring your own pen.
