Monks Wood Meander is a good long walk starting south east of Monks Wood and heads anti clockwise around the wood and local area. Be prepared for a good long walk and some interesting caches.
Monks Wood used to house an environmental research station, which is now closed/closing down. Bevills Wood, the southern twin wood hosted a paintball centre and no public right of way.
It is approximately 6 miles and will take 3 hours. There are several parking locations around the walk which can be used to split the Meander up.

This is a nano-tube. Please be careful retrieving and replacing as a drop into brambles will be most unpleasant!
Please bring a writing implement and log extraction tool.
