Geocache Description:

The City of Arlington Parks and Recreation, Water Utiliies and Keep Arlington Beautiful would like to invite you to participate in CITO event on Lake Arlington, August 18, 2012. from 8am-11:30am.  We will meet at Richard Simpson Park and shuttle (boat) participants to the clean up site.  A free pathtag will be given to the first 95 participants that arrive, register and complete the cleanup.

Rubber gloves and garbage bags will be provided. A limited amount of pickers will be available. Prizes will be given away at the event including free rounds of golf, backpacks and more. Thank you for helping Keep Arlington Beautiful!

CAUTION - We will need to crossover the lake to get to this cache. Final cleanup location will be set the morning of the event. Bring water with you for this event because it will be hot.  Also use caution, Poison Ivy will be present and you may encounter a snake. Long pants are strongly encouraged.

This project is performed as part of the settlement of an enforcement action brought by the TCEQ.
