Someron Torppamuseo
Torppamuseo kaupungin keskustassa historiallisen Härkätien varressa. Museo koostuu kolmestatoista 1700- ja 1800-luvun rakennuksesta, jotka on siirretty Somerolta ja lähipitäjistä vuosina 1955-1964. Keskeisenä on Riutan torpan päärakennus vuodelta 1823 Someron Terttilän kylästä. Riutta oli keskikokoista suurempi torppa. Muut museon rakennukset on valittu kuvaamaan tämänkokoisen torpan elintasoa. Vihkiäiset olivat v. 1956.
Crofter´s House Museum is in centre of the township by the historical Härkätie (a road used by oxdrawn cart). The museum consists of thirteen buildings of the 1700´s and 1800´s, which were removed to their present place from Somero and near-by parishes during the years 1955 - 1964. Of signifitance is the main building of Riutta- croft which dates from the year 1823 originally from the village of Terttilä in Somero. Riutta was bigger than average groft. The rest of the buildings of the museum have been selected to represent the standard of living in a croft of this size. The opening ceremonies took place in 1956.
