Take in the view of Candle Lake from the bench as you search for this small cache.
MInowukaw Sand Dunes are a unique landform found along the E shore of Candle Lake. Walk the beach and enjoy the feel of sand between your toes. Make sure to stay on designated pathways and boardwalks as the vegetation in the dunes is try to put down roots. Minowukaw Beach was an important fishing and hunting area for early Aboriginal groups as it provided access to Candle Lake and the Torch River.
Visit for the day or the weekend, camping close-by.
