How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
The first in a series of commerative caches for the West Texas Trail Riders Association.
This organization is no longer active, but it has a special place in the hearts of my wife and I as this is where we first met when we were about 12 years old. Across the road from ground zero, back in the brush toward the base of the mountain, is where everyone would camp before setting out on a four day horseback ride from Ft. Davis to Pecos. My family (dad and kids) made this ride every year for about seven years which is when I left home and headed out into the world. My wife and her family did the same. Although we grew up in diferent towns we would always look forward to seeing each other here during the annual trail ride. And this is where it all started.
As always please watch out for muggles.
