Geocache Description:

When the Blob set himself in one position, his mutant ability made it almost impossible for an outside force to move him.

Once a carnival freak, life changed for Fred j Dukes when the X-Men revealed to him that he was a mutant. Rather than accept their offer of membership in their school, Dukes attempted to destroy them as the Blob. Recruited thereafter by Magneto to become a member of his BROTHERHOOD OF EVIL MUTANTS, the Blob embarked on a life of crime, clashing with not only with the X-Men, but also with the AVENGERS and the DEFENDERS. For awhile, he worked with the government-sponsered FREEDOM FORCE, but later returned to crime. After M-day, the Blob lost his powers and much of his mass, but his skin did not snap back and hung on him in folds. Soon after, he joined X-Cell, a group of angry, depowered mutants. He's since lost the extra skin and is promoting himself as a weight-loss success story in Japan.

Stay tuned for more true believers...
