Geocache Description:

Once upon a time, three chief's of the navy were thrown overboard in the St. Louis River due to massive waves. To help them survive, the crew still on board threw three items to the men, an ammo can full of food, a rope, and a GPS. The three men (Jtb0808, Bear-0, & Iceberrrrg) made it safely to shore. After exploring the foreign land, they realized they landed on an island. To their surprise, it was full of bears! Because of the amount of food they had in their survival ammo can, they decided to hang it up in a tree before resting for the night. That night, the three men were chased off the island by the bears and because of the epic storm, they were swept away never to be seen again.

Once the storm settled, the navy fleet came back to search for the three missing men. The only thing they found was a gps with one waypoint saved. The navy fleet found where the three men set up camp and decided to leave it as a memorial to the three men lost during the storm. Please respect the WI DNR's request to limit access to this island to day use only. Please leave the cache the same way you found it!
