Simply Paul: Archiving this as it's passed - just before it's a month old.

Thanks again for coming folks - you help make my detours into the wild very special.

Please book any travel items out and add any photos as I'd love to see them. I'll be doing my own log with photo/s shortly (it's hard to find time to log as I seem to be busy having more adventures!) [:)]

Geocache Description:

Pub events; a mainstay of caching meets. Set to compliment my Britain's Ninth Most Remote Event (Ben More, Mull), where better than one in mainland UK's most remote pub, The Old Forge, Inverie, Knoydart? I may even wear my kilt :D

Revisiting after 2011's Meet at The Old Forge (Inverie, Knoydart) & 2013's Another Meet at The Old Forge (Inverie, Knoydart), which were both great, random fun.

Saturday 11th July 2015, from 1pm til 2pm AND 7pm til 10pm, with the earlier times to allow day-visitors who don't wish to stay overnight attend. Also, I'll want lunch.

Getting to Inverie: I plan to get to the area by boat, which should hurt a lot less than the 58Km I walked with Uilebheist to get here last time! You'd be welcome to join me via the walking route too (I went north from Glenfinnan, then west, but there are other ways in) if you don't fancy the boat.

The 'Knoydart Seabridge' runs every day, all summer, but as I say, if you prefer a free option, it's also possible to walk to Inverie across the mountains of Knoydart - the way I came in 2013 - or pay to take Bruce Watt's Knoydart Ferry from Maliag and save your feet/legs. The walking option usually takes two days and requires a rough camp or Bothy-stay mid way though...

There are threads about my July 2015 events on the UK Groundspeak and GAGB forums.

Companion Events in July:
Saturday 11th, GC3TPPN - Yet Another Meet @ The Old Forge, Inverie Knoydart - HERE!

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[Look for mainland Britain's most remote pub; it's there. Yet again!]
