Revisiting after 2011's Meet at The Old Forge (Inverie, Knoydart) & 2013's Another Meet at The Old Forge (Inverie, Knoydart), which were both great, random fun.
Saturday 11th July 2015, from 1pm til 2pm AND 7pm til 10pm, with the earlier times to allow day-visitors who don't wish to stay overnight attend. Also, I'll want lunch.
Getting to Inverie: I plan to get to the area by boat, which should hurt a lot less than the 58Km I walked with Uilebheist to get here last time! You'd be welcome to join me via the walking route too (I went north from Glenfinnan, then west, but there are other ways in) if you don't fancy the boat.
The 'Knoydart Seabridge' runs every day, all summer, but as I say, if you prefer a free option, it's also possible to walk to Inverie across the mountains of Knoydart - the way I came in 2013 - or pay to take Bruce Watt's Knoydart Ferry from Maliag and save your feet/legs. The walking option usually takes two days and requires a rough camp or Bothy-stay mid way though...
