Willards' Current Tree Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

asteriskvt: Owner returned to the Lake this month and checked this cache . . . storm damage and high water make this site less than desirable now, and we didn't have our GPS with us to relocate cache.
Regrettably, this cache is withdrawn.

Geocache Description:

Accessible only by water; requires disembarking and a short walk. Container contains log, no pencil.

Our family has been camping on Lake Umbagog since 1974, soon after Jim & Carolyn Willard had the foresight to lease land from the paper companies that owned the property around the lake, and then build a campground that included remote camping sites. Jim & Carolyn are gone now, so we leave this cache as a memorial to them for giving so many the opportunity to experience the real outdoors. Cache name: For those who were foolish enough to ask if the remote sites had hook-ups, Jim would direct them to the Current Bushes.
