How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
The cache IS located at the posted coordinates.
This is a challenge cache based on GC304F0 which I came across while visiting family in Nebraska.
This challenge builds onto the alphabet soup challenge by adding a Scattergories twist.
To log this cache you will need to complete the following FOUR requirements:
1) Find a cache which name begins with each letter of the alphabet. Previous finds count. This cache does not count toward the requirement. Over 50% of the caches (14 or more) must be found in Illinois. Events do not count (CITO, event, mega, etc). Caches that start with any non-letter character such as "X" marks the spot GC3F3QG, or "Your key to cache" GC3DYYT do not count.
2) Earn 1 point each time the first letter of the first word begins a word in the cache name. For example: Cache and Release- Crappie (GC18WNC) is worth 2 points.
3) Earn a total of 65 points or more, an average of 2.5 points per letter.
4) Make a bookmark list with your qualifying caches and make it public within 48hrs of logging this cache. Be sure to include this cache in your list. I’ve published my bookmark list as an example. If creating a bookmark list is not possible, a screenshot or cache list in your log will be accepted.
No pre-logging allowed. Park is open until dusk. Please obey all park rules. Cache contains a logbook, pencil, and FTF prize.
Logs without supporting details showing you meet the requirements will be deleted.
My current score is 92 points.
Congratulations to DinaWorks for the FTF with 71 points!
