How Geocaching Works

A nod to a previous CO in this area, I want to bring a cache back to this location. This is an offset cache.
A geocacher placed a cache in this location several years ago. And, while I was unable to find his particular hide, I always thought that there was an even BETTER spot to place a cache. The original cache in this spot has been archived. I placed this offset cache now that the opportunity exists.
Initial coords will take you to the parking lot of an oldtime fishing spot for the locals. Once parked and out of your vehicle, you will notice the old abandoned road bridge that used to handle the traffic here. The antiquated structure is a geocache hider's boon! Proceed to the bridge. Count 16, then start looking for a classic iowaPete cache container. It will be big enough for swag and a log book with writing tool. Please take the time to enjoy this location. The bluffs here are pretty amazing to see. CITO where appropriate (fishermen sometimes leave the odd can or bottle), and have a great time chasing this cache!
As always, photos are welcomed and appreciated with the cache find.
My thanks goes out to Blue Grass Tom whose original cache placement helped me discover this hidden gem.
