Indian Mound Park Cipra Wayside Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

At this location, you will find a small rural rest area.  Within the boundaries of this rest area are 8 mounds.  (Two linear mounds and six conical mounds.)  Please respect that this area is to be given the same respect as a WSQ as the mounds were placed for religeous purposes. This is not far, as the crow flies, from Effigy Mounds National Monument.  This area has been completely excavated several times over.  The park has beautiful colors in the fall, is available during the winter, and has picnic tables, grills, and trash/recycling bins for spring and summer stops.
Thanks goes to the Crawford Co. park and grounds folks for permission to place this cache. This cache is being started with two travel bugs and the following swag items; a first aid kit, a rubber spider, a puzzle toy, a toy car, a magnetic chicken, a bead necklace, a card game, and an action figure.
