"It's The End Of The World As We Know It" Event!
Will this day be the end of the world as we know it? Will the mayans prediction be true? There are many scholarly theories and not so scholarly theories on this subject. One interpretation of this transition is that this date marks the start of time in which Earth and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation, and that December 21, 2012, may mark the beginning of a “new age”. Others suggest that the 2012 date marks the end of the world due to some catastrophic event. Scenarios suggested for the end of the world include: the arrival of the next solar maximum, an interaction between Earth and the black hole at the center of the galaxy, Earth's collision with a planet called "Nibiru", an Alien invasion, or the disappearance of all geocaches across the world.

Will this day be the end of the world as we know it?
The FCC doesn't know...but we know it's Friday, it's the end of the week, so why don't we have an "end of the world" geoevent?
