It happened one night, when Oliver dreamt Superman was fighting King Kong in 1976. I woke him up to ask if he was going my way to the airport in Chicago. In his american dream he wanted to see the sunrise in a place in the sun. This was as good as it gets, I said. He'd need to be more like the English: patient, a man for all seasons.
