Geocache Description:

This cache should be fun for the whole family, but special consideration has been given to those members with four legs.

After reading many of the cache entries over that last few months, it has become evident that many caching teams consist of at least one canine friend. For that reason, the original contents of this cache are for the dogs, literally!

The cache is in a large Tupperware type container, which is wrapped in a dark green garbage bag to help conceal it. It is located along the 407 hydro corridor just off of a gravel hiking path. There are two points to enter the path, either at N43.83537, W079.4036, or at N43.8329, W79.38735. The first location is closer to the cache, but the second location offers better parking and puts you close to another one of my caches as well (GC3A3A, ZAP!). This means that if you are in the mood for some hiking you can hit two caches from the one parking location. The trail to the cache runs near a small river, and there are plenty of smaller trails that cut in and out of the woods just begging to be explored.

It would be great to keep the dog theme going, but it is not mandatory, so please feel free to trade with whatever you wish. The original contents of the cache were:

  • 2 Retractable leashes
  • Chrome plated leash
  • 20’ Training leash
  • Black collar
  • Chain collar
  • Bone chew toy (new)
  • Ring chew toy (new)
  • Rope chew toy (new)
  • Logbook with pen & pencil
  • I hope that you and your canine companions enjoy exploring this area.
