This place is steeped in history. Was once the entrance to a busy
harbour where the sea lapped against the walls.and the old.sailing
boats entered. Still a busy harbour but no longer a harbour
entrance as its deep inside the harbour.
This cache combines geocaching, Shopping and sight seeing. You can
walk here and never be far from refreshments, not a beautiful place
in terms of been a natural environment. Decided to create this
cache, as it is a very useful cache as you can check your GPS for
accuracy at it. From the cache cross over the bridge and go and
check out Chavones Battery, once a battery to protect the harbour
entrance, and recently rediscovered after hundreds of years of been
buried below modern buildings
