Geocache Description:

Catch the dragonfly!

Wickiup Outdoor Learning Center has expanded… A LOT!
Many new “hands on” attractions have been added.
The attractions are fun, entertaining and educational for the young and old alike!
Can you catch all the dragonflies?
Please join me and others to celebrate the enhancement and renovation of this AWESOME outdoor facility!

What is so intriguing about dragonflies?
Maybe it's their large eyes, or how they reflect so many different colors.
Is it their speed or their ability to fly up, down, left right, forwards and even backwards?
At Wickiup Hill, we know why we are fascinated with the dragonfly.
The dragonfly is the central character in the exhibit space and story book, “Oliver and Ava's River Raft Adventure”.
At Wickiup Hill, the dragonfly is a magical insect that leads kids and adults on an outdoor adventure.
We hope once you visit Wickiup Hill, you won't need a magical dragonfly to have an outdoor adventure - we hope you'll create your own outdoor adventure!
