Red Top Mountain State Park in Cartersville, GA. Saturday March 9th.
The GGA event for March will be a Geocaching themed scavenger hunt. Most all of the items on the scavenger hunt list will be available in the park. They will either be in permanent caches in the park, temporary caches, or just out in nature..
The scavenger hunt list will be handed out starting at 10:00am at the Mountain Discovery Room near the park lodge and store. The scavenger hunt will continue through out the day until 3:00. This should give you plenty of time to fill out your list and find your items..
You are welcome to show up anytime before 3:00 and get your list and begin your hunt.
At 3:00 the person with the most items (or value of items) will get to pick items off the prize table first.
Small Rocks will be serving up his famous hot dogs for lunch so you can keep fueled up and never stop your hunt.
Donations of snacks, drinks and contest prizes are welcome as always.
The GGA Meeting will be held inside the Mountain Discovery Room at 3:00 PM. This is located at lodge area of Red Top Mountain State Park.
