Previously known as a "Geocaching 101" class, this class is going to take those that come back to the basics of Geocaching.
For those that have previously come to the Geocaching 101 classes, come see what is new/different.
This is the first of the "Geocaching Basics Series" classes that will be hosted by and at a Portland-Area library.
The class will cover the following:
-What is geocaching?
-Where can I go to learn more about geocaching?
-What is a geocache?
-Who can do this?
-Is there a group of geocachers?
-How do I use my GPS to find a geocache?
-What do I need to go geocaching?
This is an open forum setting, so bring any questions you might have and we will cover them. There will be follow-up classes throughout 2013 to cover topics such as puzzles, GSAK (a geocaching tool), setting up pocket queries, Multi-point geocaches, making geocaching containers and more!
