The Dauphin Geo-Trade Event has lots to offer geocachers of all skill level. The original event had to be modified due to the late arrival of spring.
This will be a come and go event taking place April 20th and 21st. Here is how the Event will breakdown:
The posted coordinates for the event will bring you to the doors to the rec complex. We will be located inside the arena(come into the arena and we will be Booth 95/96, along the right hand side when you walk in)
We will be at the booth Saturday, April 20th 12pm-4pm and Sunday April 21st 12pm-2pm
Geocaching Workshop @ 1pm on Saturday (Learn how to use a GPS, what caches are, guided tour to find caches)
Dauphin Geocoin on sale - They will be available for a special price of only $10. Cash or Cheque only. We only have a limited amount so you can also sign up to purchase and pick them up at City Hall at a later date.
Travel Bug cache - We will be launching a fun and unique cache finding experience
New cache - A new cache will be published near the event site.
Travel bug exchange - There will be travel bugs on hand so bring your own travel bugs and make a trade.
Photo Op - Stop in and get your picture taken with local geocaching celebrities (Book your spot soon as spots are filling up fast :D )
Geofun - games and fun for the whole family, talk and swap stories with local geocachers
