Bush Tucker Trial 1 (Kidicarus)
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Every year our two boys look forward to watching the ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ TV series and compare the trials with some of the caches we have done, where we have had to climb, crawl, get wet, get muddy and so on. This series of caches have been put out in honour of some of our fellow cache owners who have tested us to our limit. You know who you are! All of the caches should be available to every one and hopefully will be a bit of fun.
This 4 mile walk includes a mix of traditional caches and some more slightly taxing ones including field puzzles – the Bush Tucker trials (1-4)!
If you find the yellow stars with the coordinate clues in the Bush Tucker Trial caches and you wish to compete for the king/queen of the jungle accolade you will then need to complete the final Bush Tucker Trial – No. 5 (GC46ZEV) in a different location. Once you have gathered the numbers from the five stars you need to work out the coordinates for the final cache in this series ‘I’m a Geo-Nutcase get me out of here’ (GC46ZFG). This is away from either of the Bush Tucker Trial areas due to the complexity of the cache which could take some time to retrieve.
The paths can be muddy at times and there are a number of stiles to go over. When you exit the woods keep dogs on a lead as there may be sheep in the nearby fields and also, the last field before returning back on the road has horses in.
Bring your own pencil/pen to sign the logs. A torch will be useful for this one.
Please leave the puzzle caches how you found them.
There will be a prize for the first three logs for the final I’m a Geo-Nutcase Get Me Out of Here cache.
In the spirit of ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ the prizes will be bush tucker which we will arrange to get to you. One proviso being the prizewinners must post a photo of them tucking in to their prize!
Thanks to Woodland Trust for giving permission to place these caches.
Don't forget to note the information on the yellow star that can be found along with the cache.
