Meet fellow geocachers and learn all about the world of Geocaching from experienced geocachers on Thursday, March 21, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Noel Wien Library conference room (enter the library through the main doors and turn right just before the reaching the main desk).
Tonight's presenter is Joanne Langseth, aka poodle chic, who is hosting our first EduVent broadcast by our geocaching friends in Fairbanks. She will deliver a fast-paced presentation on how to design and acquire your very own low cost geocaching signature items. This topic is perfect for both new and old Geocachers.
This event will be carried live over the internet via WebEx. Contact us immediately if you can host a remote site session elsewhere in Alaska. GeocacheAlaska! Sourdough Members who cannot attend an event site can link in remotely. Contact us for instructions on how to do so.
Please post a "Will Attend" log on this event page to stay appraised of the final details. If we need to make any announcements about this event, all registered attendees will automatically receive an email copy of those announcements via the email you have registered with your Geocaching.com account. Adding a "Will Attend" log to this page will also assure enough hard copy handouts are printed for the event participants.
Please arrive on time so upfront administrative details can be handled and announcements made, allowing the course content to start precisely at 6:59 p.m. Also, please bring your favorite nonalcoholic beverage and a dessert to share with your fellow cachers.
The GeAK Store will be available onsite immediately before and after the presentation. You may purchase items from our line of GxProxy gear as well as official GroundSpeak merchandise!
Debuting tonight: GeocacheAlaska! trackable license plate tags.
Price: $5/$6 Sourdough/Cheechako
