Geocache Description:

This is currently the Oldest cache in the Rogue Valley.

This cache is a good hike of a couple miles each way. You can take the road which is longer or the path which is difficult but shorter. When I found this cache I took the path. I adopted this cache in order to change the terrain to a more acceptable standard (it was originally listed as 1 1/2).

The road to this cache is passenger car friendly. Save yourself some trouble and park outside the gate unless you know for sure that you can get back before they close it. They will lock you in. Also watch out for rattlesnakes, they like to hide near GZ.

Original Text:
Access road(s) are passenger car friendly. Hike requires some stamina or a lot of time.

This stash requires a walk about a mile and a half uphill one way. The challenge here will be to figure out where to start. Those in the know will profit from the title of this geocache. The views of southern Oregon and pieces of northern California are superb and should take your mind off the climb. In the cache container you will find a hacky sack, small Swiss Army knife, a Zippo lighter, watch compass, mammal finder book, Life 101 book and a baseball cap. Enjoy your search.
