Puszczy Augustowskiej, leżące "na uboczu wydeptanych szlaków". Na początek zapraszam na wędrówkę w kierunku Udrynia; do miejsca, w którym rośnie kilka prastarych
dębów szypułkowych (Quercus robur L.). Każdy z nich jest
pomnikiem przyrody. Dęby, niestety, nie mają się zbyt dobrze przy dzisiejszym zanieczyszczeniu powietrza i kwaśnych deszczach. Nie tylko u nas, ale i w całej Europie to drzewo dziesiątkowane jest przez choroby i szkodniki. Udryńskie Olbrzymy są jak Drzewce, niektóre z nich są martwe, inne słabowite, dwa cieszą się wciąż całkiem niezłą kondycją. Wszystkie imponują swoimi rozmiarami...
Ósmy kesz znajduje się w miejscu, które lubią odwiedzać dziki. Jest tu zaledwie parę młodych dębczaków, ale widać ich żołędzie są przednie, bo ziemia po bokach drogi jest często zryta. Tuż obok stoi potężny martwy pień sosny i to on jest waszym celem. Broń boże nie należy się na niego wspinać. Dość prosty mechanizm keszowy jest łatwy do znalezienia, trudność kesza polega na jego... odwieszeniu...

I will try to show you some beautyful places in Augustów Primeval Forest (Puszcza Augustowska), which are not on the meanstream touristic list. Let`s take a walk to Udryń; to the place where you will meet few very old pedunculate oaks, (Quercus robur), every of them a natural monument. Well, oaks in whole Europe have problems with air pollution and acid rain, so here. Few of the Udryń giants are dead, few are still alive. But all of them are formidable!
Eighth cache on the trail shows a place liked by wild boars. There are only few young oaks here but their acorns must be pretty good. Boars tracks are ofttimes fresh. Big broken tree trunk you see here, is your target. Don`t climb on it, it could be dangerous. Just look around, the simple mechanism to catch the cache wanna be find. Final difficulty is to put the cache back to its hiding place...

Der achte Cache führ an paar jungen Eichen vorbei, die oft von Wildschweinen aufgesucht werden. Die Bäume sind zwar relativ klein, doch scheinbar sind ihre Eichel ziemlich gut.
