Geocache Description:

This is a CITO of the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail at the Elroy Commons area.


We are going to clean up area parks and trails along with finding some caches.  We want to introduce new and old cachers to the Elroy-Sparta bike trail and area parks.The parks and trails are Elroy- Sparta Bike trail, The 400 Trail, The Omaha Trail, Schultz Park,and Thompson Memorial Park.

Our booth will be a good place for cachers to meet and socialize. We will also be available to let curious muggles know about geocaching.

 
9:20am                Registration/ Meet & Greet with coffee, juice and doughnuts while supplies last.
9:20am                Bingo Card Pickup and creative cache drop off
9:20am-3pm      TB Swap
11am-1pm          CITO -Garbage bags will be provided break into groups
1pm-2:15pm       Meet & Greet
2:15pm                 Group Picture
2:30pm                 Bingo card hand in and door prizes awarded.
3:pm                      End of event

Other announcments will be announced as we get closer to the event.

Those attending CITO Events on April 20, 21 or 22 (or all three!) will earn a 2013 CITO Souvenir for their Geocaching profile.


What to bring:
  • Gloves
  • Walking stick, poking apparatus, "grabber". These devices work well for picking up trash.
  • Shoes / boots that can get muddy
  • A friend who wants to learn about geocaching, having fun, cleaning up parks, meeting new people, etc.
  • A picnic lunch if you wish.
  • Bike
