Geocache Description:

This is an easy Park and Grab Cache, the container is a small coffee container covered in camo tape.

Welcome to Elroy, Home of the Former Governor Tommy Thompson, This cache location is near the the south entrance to the City. Elroy boomed in the 1800's as a railroad town, But like every city that relied on the railroad it slowly has grown smaller since the railroad was discontinued and the tracks pulled to make way for a beautiful bike trail.  It doesn't have very many business's left except for a few manufacturer's, but it is Home and it has been for 30 plus years.  If you come to visit in the summer, make sure you bring your bikes and ride the excellent trails that pass through Elroy, or enjoy the city fair that happens at the end of June every year.  There is also many other great Geocaches in the area that you can pickup when your here. If your just passing through check out all the great things that this small little city has to offer!

Thanks to dudenblt for the idea!
