Geocache Description:

This cache will expire and be removed on 6/6/09.

This cache has been rated using the Geocache Rating System.

A steep start, and a rugged hike most of the way. If you bring children, I recommend 1 adult per child. I took my 5 yr. old when I hid it, but held his hand the whole way.

When you reach the cache, a beautiful view will be your reward. There is more than one possible approach, so study a map before you head out.

Cache is in a flat black ammo can with an official geocaching sticker on it. It is completely hidden from view due to non-geocacher traffic in the area. Bring a walking stick or something to poke around with. Please avoid reaching your hand into places you can't see as there may be snakes in the area during warm weather and be sure to cover it completely when you are done.

Original contents are:

  • Log book, 2 pencils, stash note, silica gel packet (please leave these items in the cache)
  • The Coffin Dancer, By Jeffery Deaver (registered at Bookcrossing.com)
  • Lockback knife
  • 2 AA batteries
  • 1/2 pint of bottled water
  • Combination lock
  • 2 Kids' pencils
  • Silly putty
