Geocache Description:

This geocache has been placed by the NPS with permission from Deputy Superintendent, Carol Kohan.


Park Information:
  • This geocache is available between 9AM - 4:30PM except when the park is closed for holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) or inclement weather. There is no fee to visit the grounds.

Wherigo Information:
This is a Wherigo game.  In order to participate, you will need a Wherigo player which is a GPS-enabled application that allows you to play cartridges.  The Wherigo player runs on the Garmin Oregon, Garmin Colorado, and most smartphones.

You will also need to download the Wherigo cartridge (version 1.4) from www.wherigo.com.  Upload the cartridge to your device and begin your adventure by opening the cartridge in your Wherigo player.

Your Adventure:
In order to complete the Wherigo, the park staff require answers to four questions. If answered correctly, the geocache's location will be revealed. The entire adventure through the historic core should take less than one hour. Don't forget to save your progress after each question!
