How Geocaching Works

Growing up on the NY/CT border and being both a Westchester and Greenwich resident in my life, I am placing a series of ammo can caches in some of my favorite locations. I hope you have fun finding these well stocked, themed caches and treat them with respect. This is our third hide with a Faerie theme great for families (especially little princesses).
Welcome to Silver Lake. Park in the small lot where Old Church Streets meets New Church Street and take the trail on the right side of the lot. A few fallen trees in the path but easy enough to navigate. Down stone steps, cross a babbling brook, then look uphill to the old rock walls. Faeries are near.
This themed ammo can is found slightly off the trail and is stuffed with faerie goodies. Make your own wand, try a tiara, and of course there are plenty of sparkles. Trades and travel bugs welcome. There is a carriage shaped candle from our wedding and a logbook in a plastic bag, and those are the only ones I ask be left. Items in keeping with the theme get bonus apreciation hearts, but all trades welcome. Please rehide cache in the same way it was found.
