Geocache Description:

FIN: Mikrokätkö Panelian Peltomaalla, Raakkuunjärvellä.
ENG: Microcache at Raakkuunjärvi, Peltomaa, Panelia

FIN:
Porin ja Rauman välinen vanha maantie, Raakkuntieksikin kutsuttu, kulki Panelian kylän pohjoisosan kautta Nakkilan Leistilään Raakkuunjärven vieritse. Nyt jo umpeen kasvaneen järven itärannalla harjun rinteellä on Keisarinranta-niminen paikka. Nimen paikalle on tuonut tarina, jossa Keisari Aleksanteri I kulki 6.9.1819 matkallaan Porista Raumalle.

ENG:
Old road between Pori and Rauma called Raakkuntie, ran through northern part of Panelia, to Lestilä in Nakkila, past Raakkunjärvi. At eastside of now overgrown lake, hillside of esker, is place called Keisarinranta. Name was brought by story where Emperor Alexander I traveled 6.9.1819, from Pori to Rauma. It is told that Emeperor stopped at beach of Raakkunjärvi with his entourage to change horses for carriage. Marks of this event was not found by villager who investigated place 1969, which is normal because it was just matter of chancing horses. As historical event, presence of Emperor was remarkable and everything else that everyday event.
The lake was once dried, and later restored birdlake

Depending on the season boots may be the safest option.
The shortest route is not smartest choice.
