How Geocaching Works

This cache is below the Waterberg Plateau in the forest. You have to enter the Nature Reserve to get to it and you can camp there.
The cache is in a tupperware container and is hidden at the large ficus tree you will see there (check the photo, it's huge). The cache contains a logbook and pencil, a rubber ball, a Pink Floyd sew-on patch, a whistle, a wooden bangle and a small book of Australian fauna. I tried to secure the cache as much as possible since there are baboons wandering through the forest. When we got back to our tent, it had been busted by one of them! P.S. The only way onto the plateau proper (apart from a walk to the closest edge) is to take an expensive game drive. We would not recommended this since there is no game to see and they don't stop the the vehicle for you to wander around. Go to Etosha to see game instead.
