Geocache Description:

Come join us Saturday June 1, 2013 as we celebrate the annual National Trails Day with Platte County Parks & Recreation as well as Kansas City Parks and Recreation.

We will meetup / rally at 10:00AM near the baseball fields in Frank Vaydik Park along the new Line Creek Trail. We will distribute trash bags to all attendees at this point. If you have gloves please bring them along. We will bring all our trash bags back to this parking lot which the parks departments will pick up afterwards.

There is scheduled to be a trail dedication ceremony during this time frame by Platte County, so take a break and check out the presentation.

It is my intentions to tour around the entire park as well as the new trail clear to the south to I-29. I do not expect to find lots and lots of trash during this event, but this is what has been requested by Platte County, so we will oblige.
