Russell School's Writers' Walk 1
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
The Russell School's Writers' series is a way for the children of Russell School to display their writing. As you walk around, you'll enjoy some of their favourite places.
Walk 1 is all flat, and would probably take you around 30 minutes, unless of course you actually enjoy the places you are taken to!!! This walk can be undertaken any time of the day, but obviously you'll need a light of some sort to read in the dark.
Enjoy Russell School, the Anglican Church, the museum and Pompallier House. To solve this multi you need to find the writing by writers from Russell School, and solve the puzzle using the writing, to get to know where the next waypoint is. Waypoint 1 is straightforward! Waypoint 2 is at S 35° 15.A83 E 1A4° 0A.431, where A = the number of letters in the writer's surname at waypoint 1. Waypoint 3 is at S 35° 15.BB1 E 1B4° 0B.352 where B = the number of letters in the last word, of the second to last paragraph, of the writing at waypoint 2. Waypoint 4 is at S 35° 15.85C E 174° 07.2C7 where C = the number of paragraphs in the piece of writing at waypoint 3. The final cache is at S 35° 15.BCD E 1A4° DB.43D where D = A - B.
