Geocache Description:

People that have been to the trains in the North Maine Woods want to go back. And people that haven't been yet want to go. Well here is the opportunity you've been waiting for. So All Aboard!! for a very special event.

Now before you say "Where do I sign up" there are a few things to keep in mind. This is not a Timmy's meet and greet by any stretch of the imagination. If you think you are up for the challenge then continue reading.

To start with you will have to drive a good distance on rough gravel logging roads. Then we will meet up and begin the two-mile hike to the event site. There is a North Maine Woods gate fee you will have to pay to enter the area. This is truly a gem of an wilderness. You may see moose, deer, bear, or any other type of wildlife. And of course more black flies, and mosquitoes than you will ever want to encounter again. As those two mammoth engines come into view it makes for an awesome sight. There will be more details in the way of announcements as we get closer to the day. Please only post will attends if you are seriously planning to go. The plan is to make it to the trains at noon. Spend some time socializing and then head back out. Where after a meal with some well earned beverages will be likely.
