Geocache Description:

Here is a simple cache to discover the circus of Vogna and his singular Pierre Enon. Two possible access after a walk of less than one kilometer, either from the village of Vogna or from Neglia (see map in the photo gallery).

For a long time Pierre Enon was considered a megalith built there for druidic ceremonies. Although nothing can attest, it is quite possible that it actually served as a place of worship, but however it is unlikely that it was erected by the hand of man. Its origin is probably due to an old collapsing cliffs overlooking the circus. Its tip down position did not fail to intrigue some scientists have proposed a hypothesis: For them the block shook loose at the end of the last glaciation and fell on a mass of ice that was still in the bottom of circus. With the slow melting of the glacier, the Pierre Enon would delicately placed on the floor in a position that challenges your balance.
