Geocache Description:

Eng: The original "Asserballe Mose" has been mugled and therefor has a new hide and smaller cache been established.

Her yngler ofte både ænder, gæs og blishøns.

Eng.: This cache is located at Asserballe bog. A small pond with a large variety of birds and wildlife. Ducks, geese and coots does often breed here. Heron can bee seen from time to stand on the banks hunting for the frogs living in the pond. Asserballe bog is a small remnant of a larger wetland that has covered the lower-lying landscape around Asserballe, but after a heavy drainage, still visible at Asserballe rectory, this pond is one of the last remaining. It is said that you previously could sail around from farm to farm in Asserballe. In winter time does the bog rarely freezes completely, even after many days of frost.
