Geocache Description:

This cache used to be a lending library for video games, but it didn't get much traffic that way, so now it's just a cache with a video game theme. Take a game, leave whatever you think appropriate. If you park in the right place, it should only be a 1/2 mile walk with gentle inclines along a well-groomed path (until the last 100 yards) and should be an easy hike for adults and children alike.

I've loved playing video games most of my life, and this cache is a reflection of that.

This is a short to moderate hike from most parking areas on the eastern part of the Carquinez Straight regional park. The best trailhead is near a dead end, but is a beautiful drive. When I placed this cache (April 2002) there were some very marshy areas right near where the cache is placed. While it's possilbe to avoid most of it, you should be prepared for muddy shoes.

Bring a game that you're tired of, and trade for one you haven't played before, or just bring a toy to share.. I have stocked the cache with games for Playstation, Dreamcast, and Windows. But you don't need to leave a game if you don't have one. Feel free to share your thoughts about your favorite game in the logbook.

The container is a .50 caliber ammo can, which has been painted in hopes of blending in with the surroundings.
