## Geocache Description:

Welcome to the first Unknown Cache in Intervales State Park!
The box is not hidden at the coordinates above, you first have to solve the puzzle to find it.

You are going for a great Mission: To find the last remaining Project APE cache, which is hidden in the nearer surrounding. To make sure and to proof that you are prepared adequately for this truly unforgettable mission, you have to answer some questions. Two of them are addressing the movie (no need to say that the 2001 version is meant) while the other four are dealing with the Missions. Passing this quest by finding the values for P, L, A, N, E, T and doing some higher maths will lead you to box. Here you go with the quest: At the end of the movie you see a commemorative plaque. Whose memory is here enshrined forever? (Rank + Name, two words) P = Sum of letter values (A=1, B=2, ...) Around the middle of the movie our heroes are arriving at CALIMA, the origin of all APEs. CALIMA turned out to stand for a phrase. What are the three words? L = Sum of letter values (A=1, B=2, ...) Exactly 125 days after the World Premiere in NYC this Mission has been archived. A = # of Mission When being placed, the Project APE caches used to contain some artefacts from the movie. One was initially containing a torch. N = # of Mission One Mission was found several hundred times although there was a warning that a Copperhead snake was possibly residing under the cache. E = # of Mission Two Missions were only completed twice, that means that only two Found-it-Logs were reported. T = Sum of the two # of Missions The cache is placed at S  24° 16.sss W 048° 24.www where sss  =   9*P  -  2*L  - 20*A  -  3*N  - 11*E  -  6*T www  = 132*A  -  2*P  - 27*E Check your coordinates here and go for it! Carolix and Friedelfindus from Germany We placed the box during our APE-Mission in June 2013. We suppose that geocachers coming for this very special mission are familar with English language thus we apologize for not having a Portugese version in place. Thanks to intervales and nandonavigator for doing some maintainance if needed. All pictures taken from Planet of the Apes © 2001 Twentieth Century Fox Film Cooperation
