Geocache Description:

Summer means vacations, high school and family reunions, ball games and picnics in the park. Albany has many nice parks but one of the nicest is Timber Linn Memorial Park.

Two years ago, we started a geocaching tradition by having a Meet & Greet in the park prior to the ATI Northwest Art & Air Festival Night Glow.

Take a break from your geocaching activities and plan to join us Friday, August 23 from 5:00-7:00pm, at Timber Linn Memorial Park for this year’s edition of the Geo-Picnic in the Park. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, a picnic dinner and come prepared for good fellowship and shared stories from the geocaching trail. Many of you will have recently returned from vacation and will have some great geocaching stories to tell.

Finding parking has been a problem for many in the past. Please enter the park from the highway 20 side. The coordinates will take you to the field on the south side of the park.

This year’s entertainment prior to the Night Glow will again be the accapella men’s quartet, The Coats beginning at 7:30pm.
