Geocache Description:

There's more to Curium than just the main camp on the hill.

For those who have been up to the main site already the name Eustolio will ring a bell; for those who haven't I suggest you do, it's one of the best bits of Roman stuff on the island.  Eustolio was the Roman in charge up there at the top of the cliff. This isn't actually a 'property', it's another basilica, but I can't help imagining Eustolio and his family taking a dip at this great beach and shaking the pebbles out of their sandals right here.

This lower site is locked, I guess if you really wanted to get in and have a good look the entry kiosk for Curium would be the people to ask. Needless to say the cache is outside the fenced area.

The Beach
This is one of the 'turtle beaches' along this coast, there are another 4 or 5 stretching west from here. The signs on the beach car park will tell you all about that.

Water conditions can vary between flat calm and 2m waves, so exercise caution.

The east end of the beach is popular with kite surfers, and paragliders can often be seen floating around over the cliff. Please replace the cache exactly as you found it, orientation matters to keep the rain out as much as possible
