UPDATE...PLEASE READ!!!!! Apparently someone thinks that I had bad motives when doing this cache. It is a cacher from Utah who started a "911 security threat" thread under the "General" section of the forum. He has supposedly sent this information to the FBI, so I really don't know what is up with him. I just thought I would let you know this in case you decide to hunt for your state capital building. I have NO other motives behind this but to see different pictures of state capital buildings via the Geocache format! (05/07/2002)
Whenever I travel to different states, I always like to find the state capital building and visit. They are a great source of some good historical information, and the buildings themselves are usually quite spectacular. I thought it would be interesting to see pictures of each of the different state capital buildings using the Geocaching format!
What to do:
Find a state capital building and take a picture of it. Make sure that either your or your GPS are in the photo as well. (No old vacation photos or photos downloaded off the internet.) When posting, upload the photograph, the coordinates of the building, city and state. If you would like to provide any additional information about the site, please do so.
Note..each state capital building can only be logged ONCE, so be sure to check and see if the one you are wanting to log has already been done or not. Duplicates will be deleted, as will "finds" using the internet instead of your GPS and an on site visit.
