Geocache Description:

Fairies are tiny creatures that live in the tree tops, marshes, forest floor, wayside & gardens. Wherever and whenever a seed sprouts, a fairy baby is born. Each fairy lives and sleeps in their chosen flower, plant or tree. Each and every fairy is in charge of looking after their flower or plant; keeping it strong and healthy by making sure it has plenty of sunshine and water to drink, sweeping away dead leaves, and polishing flowers and stems.

How do you find a fairy? The best times of the day to see a fairy are at twilight, midnight, just before sunrise and midday. And the best time of the year to see a fairy is on Midsummer's Eve, as this is the most magical time for all fairies. Fairies love music and dancing, and hold many balls and parties throughout the year, but on this special night they throw the most wonderful party of all, and every fairy is invited! Fairies don't like to be discovered, and are very good at disappearing quickly (with the help of their magical fairy dust, so you must be very careful and very patient if you are to see one

Fairies are very shy creatures, and are especially wary of humans - who they find very big and loud! Each fairy has extra-sensitive ears, so if they hear someone coming close to them they are careful to flutter into their flower and curl up tightly. Each fairy wears an outfit made from their own leaves and flowers, so it is easy for them to hide. If people knew about fairies, their curiosity could put them in danger. So if you are lucky enough to spot a fairy, be sure to keep it a secret!

This cache was meant to bring joy to geocachers of all ages. When visiting this cache, please be respectful of the cache area. The fairies have put forth a great amount of time and effort in creating it and have put a lot of heart into making it very detailed, realistic, and cheerful. We hope it brings a smile to your face and we hope you might catch a glimpse of a fairy here. Please do not create a big, fat geotrail straight up to the cache for muggles to follow! You can head up the bank directly opposite the parking area and find the little fairy trail.

Also, please leave the cache exactly as you found it so that those who follow may enjoy it as well. Feel free to trade a gift (no food please), trinket, or trackable for the fairies. If you wish, you are also welcome to take photos here and post them with your log. We would love to see you enjoying the cache!
