D&L Trail aka No Man's Land Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

We always called this place "No Man's Land" because it was barren. Scrub oaks everywhere. We hunted here and there was so little wildlife. Up until about 2 years ago the utility poles from Mountaintop stopped right here and there were no more poles or wires for a mile or so. Verizon cell phones still lose service here on our way through daily. That's why we called it "No Man's Land. Now, as of about a month ago, the D&L Trail was established here. This is a Black Diamond Trailhead. I believe it is the end of the Trail for now, on it's way to Wilkes Barre. There is quite a few people using it already. There are now 2 new homes nearby, so maybe in time we'll lose our name for this place.

Just be careful leaving the parking lot. Cars really fly past from right to left. Again, be careful.
