Geocache Description:


Manoir du XVI-XVIII acheté par la Municipalité en 1974 et restauré par l'architecte Henri Enguehard. Ce manoir appartenait à un marchand drapier de la famille de Nicolas Fouquet, surintendant du roi Louis XIV. Un agrandissement du manoir a été réalisé en 1999 par l'architecte François Jeanneau.
L'édifice est inscrit au titre des monuments historiques en 1977.
Le manoir est actuellement utilisé comme médiathèque par la commune de Saint-Barthélemy-d'Anjou. br />

XVI-XVIII century castle purchassed by the municipality in 1974 and restored by the archtech Henri Enguehard. This mansion belonged to draper family of Nicolas Fouquet, surintendent of king Louis XIV. An expansion of mansion was completed in1999 by the architect François Jeanneau.
The building is listed as historic monument in 1977.
Now the mansion is used as library
