Geocache Description:

ENG: cache is hidden in honor of guard huts, while guarding the Iecava almost 120 years.

The most attractive Iecavas architectural decoration nowadays but there are 3 park guard houses, which read in various park sides and in different conservation degrees. One of the small red-brick building with a steep gable next to the bridge over the river Iecavas - see anyone passing through Iecava. Today contaminated mud with inappropriate bedpan the roof turbulent highway dealt with often only briefly, while every once slowly and prudently attending or ride the traveler, it looked like a real fairy house. Something of the English Gothic style - diligent red brick masonry, granite kvaderi corners, windows with small diamond-shaped glazing lead frames, doors with beautiful forgings. Of the show in 1904. Photography of the year, which is the result of thought, shortly after construction: the exact year of building is unknown. This hut caretaker monitored entrance Manor Park Iecavas along the right bank of the river, and the second house was located on a park road, river, on the opposite bank. Also, it is no less a sorry state - rebuilt roof, windows, chimney, broken off part of the carved gable. Near the remains of the old bridge Iecavas small tributary Ģedulīti that as carefully fashioned masonry technique to smooth Granite kvaderiem only used brick instead of boulders. The best position is the third guard house (where is a cache), which is already out of Manor Park, a long oak alleys all, on the road leading to the former Dorothea manor house. In the past, this place were forest, and old photos of imagination, the situation is difficult to reconcile with the current look.
