Step 2: On the way up the trail, look for the information sign on Kilimanjaro - the Life Giving Mountain. Under the Key Facts section is the extraordinary fact the Yohani Kinyala Lauwo a porter who accompanied climbers to the summit in 1889 did so without shoes! Step 3: At the summit shelter, the info sign 'Small Animals Matter' gives figure for an aerial count of the Amboseli ecosystem carried out in 2010. The number of Coke's hartebeest counted was 37C
Step 4: On the sign 'For How Long Will the Lion Roar', under 'Interesting Lion Facts' is the fact that lions spend up to DE hours a day resting! (this is the higher of the 2 figures given)
Step 5: On the sign 'Who is the King of the Jungle', the section 'Majestic Figures' states that the elephant bull's sex organ can weigh up to 2F kilos!
