EL PUENTE DE SAN PABLO (THE BRIDGE OF SAN PABLO)
El Puente de San Pablo es una imponente estructura metálica que atraviesa la Hoz del Huécar y te llevará hasta el Parador, en el que puedes instalarte o simplemente asomarte como a otro monumentos más.

El puente que hoy conocemos como puente de San Pablo de estructura metálica no fue el puente original que había sobre la hoz del Huécar.

Tiene el sobrenombre del Puente de los Suicidios, evocando obviamente ser el lugar elegido para desaparecer de este mundo de quienes no estaban demasiado contentos en el mismo.

La construcción primitiva se componía de cinco arcos grandes de piedra y sus pilares ascendían desde el valle ondulante del río Huécar.y presentaban aspecto de fortaleza, el 7 de mayo de 1786, curiosamente día de la Ascensión, el puente se resquebrajó en su primer tramo y quedó afectado el segundo arco, más próximos a la ciudad conquense.
